Hisham Abbas Follows in the Footsteps of Hakim

CAIRO, 1 August 2005 — The trend of Arab singers trying to break into the acting world is growing rapidly; the most recent singer to join the group is Hisham Abbas.

Hisham is currently holding private work sessions with a screenplay writer and close friend, to decide on a suitable film in which the singer will make his debut.

Despite his recent motorcycle accident, Hisham insists he will continue to ride. When his family attempted to stop him for his own protection, the singer stressed that he will not allow fear to interfere with one of his favorite hobbies.
