“Not only this, DPS-Riyadh has come to be recognized throughout the Kingdom as a brand known for its progressive approach and commitment to excellence through well designed instructional program and flexible and unique school management systems,” said Tarin. The school, as part of its long-term plan, will prepare students for the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) of India or later facilitating them to the option of simultaneously appearing for the British and/or the American schools certificate examinations.
“We are more focused on our promises and commitment,” said Tarin adding that the DPS-Riyadh enrolls only 20 pupils in a class to ensure that a teacher pays personal attention on every student. The school, he said, had well-trained staff recruited from India, a spacious campus and huge playgrounds, counseling facilities for parents and students besides separate sections for boys & girls and above all an affordable and reasonable fee structure. These are the distinguishing features of all DPS schools, which function under the aegis of a regulatory body called DPS Society, which is based in Delhi.

The DPS- Riyadh, currently runs classes upto Grade 8. But, it would follow a pattern of fifteen years of schooling, starting with one year of pre-nursery (at the age of 3 plus); followed by one year of preparatory class (or prep.); and finally a total of 12 years of secondary and senior secondary classes based on the 10+2 pattern of education.
At the end of 10 years the students will appear for the All-India Secondary School Examination [AISSE, Grade X], which is followed by the All-India Senior School Certificate Examination [AISSCE, Grade XII], both of which are conducted by the CBSE. DPS-Riyadh is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) of India. The faculty of DPS comprises highly qualified teachers with extensive teaching experience.
