Woman Takes the Wheel to Help Husband

QATEEF, 31 August 2005 — When police followed and stopped a car traveling at high speed they found a woman at the wheel with with her husband in the passenger seat, unconscious. The couple were on their way to Qateef from Safawi when he fainted because of low blood-sugar levels. His wife took over and drove at high speed to Qateef where police stopped her. Police at once released the woman and led the way, clearing the road of traffic to speed up her journey to the hospital to treat her husband.
