ISLAMABAD, 14 August 2006 — Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Khurshid Mahmud Kasuri will visit Lebanon on Wednesday to express solidarity with the government of Lebanon. The foreign minister of Malaysia will accompany him. Malaysia is the current head of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC). Malaysian Foreign Minister Sayed Hamid Akbar will be visit Lebanon as a representative of Malaysian Prime Minister Abdullah Badawi. Both the ministers will also convey OIC’s concern about Israeli aggression against Lebanon. Pakistan has so far sent several relief flights to Lebanon via Syria.
