RIYADH, 22 February 2006 — Communications provider Mobily has announced a reduction of up to 35 percent in its international call rates.
“The new reduction will come into effect from Wednesday and would apply to all post-paid and pre-paid customers,” Hamoud Al-Ghobaini, public relations and media manager at Mobily, told Arab News yesterday.
He pointed out that there had been a drastic reduction in calls made by subscribers to international favorite numbers.
Ghobaini said subscribers could call their favorite numbers in GCC countries at SR1.10 per minute, in Egypt at SR1.50 and India at SR1.65. Mobily customers can specify one international favorite number that they can call at rates as low as 73 percent of the off-peak rate.
