RIYADH, 22 March 2006 — The Saudi Football Federation approved the change of schedule for Thursday’s match between Al-Nasr and Al-Taie in Hail. The game has been moved from 8 p.m. to 4 p.m. Nasr are currently at 8th place with 23 points, while Taie are at 10th place with 18 points.
Hamadji to Play for Wehda Next Season
MAKKAH, 22 March 2006 — Al-Wehda club will sign Al-Taie striker Hamadji to play for the club next season. The signing will be worth $130,000. Hamadji will don Wehda colors after Taie’s final match against Nasr on Thursday.
Khaleej, Faisali to Join Premier Division
JEDDAH, 22 March 2006 — Al-Khaleej and Al-Faisali, the first division teams of Saudi League, have qualified to join heavyweights in the Premier Division next season. Khaleej and Faisali qualified as per their rankings according to the points they got as leading teams in the first division. Khaleej got 45 points, while Faisali had 39 points. Last week, Al-Ansar and Al-Abha — the bottom teams at the Saudi League — were also relegated to first division.
