BEIRUT, 15 May 2006 — Lebanese singer Wael Kfoury was recently in Dubai to work on a number of commitments, the most significant being the filming of a new television commercial for an international watch company. The commercial marks his debut into the world of television commercials, a path taken by many artists.
Wael is also preparing to film a new music video for the song “Kirmal Iyounak” (For Your Eyes) under the direction of Lebanese director Saeed Al-Marouq. Wael began recording the songs for his upcoming album, and revealed he would make extra efforts to finish the album before he begins his hectic summer schedule.
He is preparing to record a new duet with singer Dina Hayek. The idea of the duet was born as the two were present at the Venice Hotel in Beirut, holding concerts, and Wael requested Dina to join him in singing the song “Meen Habibi Ana” (Who Is My Love) and she did.
At that time, he was very impressed with her voice and so the two kept in contact and decided to sing a duet together.
