JEDDAH, 6 October 2006 — Saudi women are drawn into knowing the intricacies of stock market investment, a financial expert said on Tuesday.
In the second training seminar conducted by Tatweer International Software Development Co., Ltd. at the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, a noticeably large number of Saudi women participated.
The company launched recently an online tool called Mostathmer, which claims to empower Saudi stock market investors with accurate data and analysis support to protect and build up their capital. The Internet program provides up-the-minute price information, full-support basic analyses and related press news, all in one bilingual portal.
Expressing optimism on the growing interest of Saudi women in learning the mechanics and knowledge involved in stock investment, Basmah Omair, head of the Khadeeja bint Khuwailid Business Center at the JCCI, said after the end of the second series of seminar that women are playing pivotal role in the further development of the Saudi economy. She added that thorough understanding of the tools in the complex stock market industry is necessary for progress and for women to be competitive.
Aiman Mohammed Fakeeh, managing director of Tatweer, vowed to continue educating women all over the Kingdom and planned to hold similar training programs in other chambers of commerce. He said the company “is keen on building a long-lasting business relationship with its clients.”
For easy and more information in making the proper stock investment decisions, the company can be visited at www.mostathmer.com.”
He added that: “Mostathmer provides the client with accurate, trustworthy, highly valuable and rich information including deep analysis of market movement, analysis of historical and external data and financial information.”
One of the strongest features of the program is the latest data to help assess the financial strength of listed companies. “These data enable the user to make long-term decisions through getting a clear picture of the financial situation of the company before buying its stocks,” Fakeeh said. Such vital and detailed information now available on Mostathmer includes data on balance sheets, incomes and revenues, cash floating (quarterly and early), and data history.
