Couple Together to the End

BISHA, 14 January 2007 — An elderly couple that was married for over 60 years passed away on the same day, the daily Okaz reported yesterday. The wife was the first to go, falling ill early in the day. Her sons took her to a hospital. Despite efforts to keep her alive, the woman passed away in a matter of hours. After the husband heard of his wife’s death, he died hours later from heart failure. The two were buried side-by-side in the local graveyard, the daily said.
