Lecture on Women at JCCI Today

JEDDAH, 17 January 2007 — A lecture called “Enabling Women Socially, Economically and Legally” will take place today at 7 p.m. at the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce & Industry (JCCI). Al-Arabiya Events Management and JCCI will organize the lecture. “Women should know their rights and duties and should know that to work inside and outside her family is the essence of her life,” said Olfat Kabbani, board member of the JCCI. Nora Al-Saad, sociology professor at King Abdulaziz University (KAU), will discuss the empowerment of women from the social point of view.
