Haifa Wahbi on Charity Drive in Monaco

BEIRUT, 13 June 2007 — Lebanese singer Haifa Wahbi is currently visiting Monaco in a charity drive to collect funds for poor children and to help in replanting trees damaged from the Israeli war in Lebanon last summer, the Al-Riyadh newspaper reported recently. She was the guest of honor in a charity dinner as well. Haifa went there on an invitation from the Pentium Fund Foundation. Following the dinner party, Wahbi gave interviews with several radio stations including “Monte Carlo.”

The singer, who was recently chosen as the new face for Chopard Jewelry, is working on a new album, “Baby Haifa” in which she sings for children.
