RIYADH, 3 July 2007 — The Australian government has set end of July a deadline for the 2008 endeavor Awards submissions for applicants whose belong to countries included in the so-called Endeavor Program.
The program is a merit-based scholarship that was launched last year to include 14 Middle Eastern countries as part of the Australian government’s $1.4 billion educational-exchange initiative. The Australian Embassy in Riyadh invited Saudi students, leading researchers and executives who aim to undertake short or long-term study in Australia to apply for the scholarships before July 29.
Ismael Talaat business development manager pointed to Arab News that Saudi students can chose any study field and be provided full financial support for up to three years to undertake a postgraduate degree.
