The world increasingly complains about child sex abuse, which seems to be on the rise in spite of the various types of punishment that countries across the world have in place for such behavior. Many pedophiles are known to be repeat offenders, committing their crimes again when released from jail. In fact, in the West pedophiles have their service organizations and committees that defend their rights when calls are made to castrate them.
Castration is a surgical or chemical method in which a male’s testes are removed. The practice of castration has its roots before recorded human history and was a frequent practice, for religious or social reasons, in certain cultures of Europe, the Middle East, India, Africa and China. It has also been used as a temporary preventive measure or punishment — typically for male child sex offenders and rapists.
In ancient Egypt, a sex abuser would be punished by having his genitals removed. Certain tribes in Africa and India also deal similarly with sex abusers.
Some Internet websites note that there are European countries, including the Czech Republic, that castrate child sex abusers. Czech law gives abusers the option to choose either between being castrated and or being imprisoned for life. Many of these people sacrifice their sexual organs to buy their freedom. Castrations in the Czech Republic are usually performed with the consent of sex abusers, who normally are repeat offenders. These types of people are usually alcoholics and unable to fruitfully be treated or rehabilitated.
What facilitates agreements to be castrated either chemically or surgically in places like the Czech Republic is that those societies are not male-dominated like what we have here in the Middle East. Discussing the idea of castration in the Middle East would stop all types of devilish perverts from abusing children.
Some researchers admit that it is difficult to put a finger on the accurate number of Arab children, who are sexually abused. The majority of people in the Middle East consider abuse to be a scandal that needs to be dealt with in secrecy. There have been some recent attempts in the Arab world to define the size of the problem and stop perverts from committing more crimes.
In the absence of accurate statistics, I believe that the Arab authorities need to consider using castration to stop this menace from spreading. It is all right for a few men to lose their masculinity for the sake of dozens of innocent children.
