JEDDAH, 27 August 2007 — In an effort to provide more trading options to their clients, for the first time in the Kingdom, the Al-Ahli Capital company of the National Commercial Bank, will provide negotiable essential service via the Internet to all its customers free of charge and without subscription fees, Hany Al-Shuwaier, NCB head of brokerage division, said.

He said the step falls within the framework of the bank’s efforts toward continued development implemented by the company in order to provide better services to customers in the Saudi money market in an effort to enhance communication with clients by addressing their needs and aspirations.

This trend is an extension of the company’s vision to provide innovative solutions and comprehensive investment to its clients, he added.

Al-Shuwaier further said that the new Al-Ahli service is open 24 hours to meet all the processes and procedures for deliberation and investment automatically with great processing speed and data archiving, speed of sending and receiving messages to and from the central circulation system from anywhere. It is also completely safe.

He said that the goal of putting up the free services is to “provide an opportunity for a large segment of investors who are looking for a simple and effective way to follow the market and manage their investment portfolios, trading of shares, conducting sales and purchases without incurring annual subscription fees.”

Trading through the Internet is not the only service offered by NCB Capital, where investors could follow the market and the implementation of the sale and purchase of shares without an intermediary either from inside or outside the Kingdom.
