The BMG Saudi Index ended yesterday’s trading session on a negative note. The index fell by 0.86 percent, losing 3.52 points, to reach a closing level of 404.26 points. The market turnover was relatively low, falling by 25.4 percent from Saturday’s session to reach SR1.82 billion ($484 million). It seems that the market has set itself on a slight downward path as it awaits the 3Q results. Following Saturday’s trend, all the index’s sectors did not perform well in yesterday’s session. The worst performing sector was the services sector, dipping by 1.3 percent, followed by both the agricultural and industrial sectors which declined by 0.7 percent and 0.5 percent, respectively.
