NBB Rolls Out First Branch in Saudi Arabia

MANAMA, 15 January 2008 — As a part of its strategy to expand its operations across the GCC, National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) launched its first ever branch in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Riyadh, the bank said in a statement.

Hassan Ali Juma, managing director and chief executive of NBB said: “We are extremely pleased to announce the launch of our new branch in Riyadh which has been the center of major economic and financial business in the region. We look forward to providing both our Riyadh customers as well as our Bahrain–based customers with the latest products and services coupled with the latest technology.”

NBB has been at the forefront on the banking industry for more than 50 years and with our local knowledge and regional expertise. “We are poised to meet client demands and ensure that their businesses as well as personal financial goals are achieved.”

Juma added: “The branch has been designed to attract customers from all walks of life and provides easy access as well as superior efficiency. NBB has always been a customer driven organization and this philosophy transcends across all NBB branches.”

The NBB Riyadh branch in Olaya area has a total area of 1,200 square meters. It will be led by Eyad Sater.
