JEDDAH, 17 March 2008 — Saudi Telecom Company (STC), the Kingdom’s national telecommunications provider, has launched a new “family & friends package” for its landline customers by reducing the service fee from SR10 to SR4 per month, representing a 25 percent discount on five numbers selected by the customer. Saad ibn Dhafer Al-Qahtani, VP home services at Saudi Telecom said: “STC has been keen to provide a series of reduction packages to facilitate communications between families and friends inside and outside the country with lower prices and throughout the day. The family and friends package offers complete flexibility and allows the customer to receive a discount on five numbers, whether all local, four local and one Jawal, or four local and one international number.”
