JEDDAH, 2 May 2008 — Two students of Bangladesh International School (English Section), Jeddah, received brilliance awards for their achievement at the IGCSE exam conducted in June 2007, at a ceremony hosted by the University of Cambridge International Examinations in collaboration with the British Council on Wednesday. Saad Mosaddek Sircar has been awarded for ranking first in Saudi Arabia in physics. Mazharul Islam Mohammed Akkas Reaz has topped in the Kingdom in business studies. Saad is pursuing his A levels at the school and Reaz is in the UK doing a foundation course in accounting and business, according to a school statement.

JEDDAH, 2 May 2008 — Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will start issuing applications forms and prospectus for its new session for various degrees and programs from its offices in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam tomorrow, according to an announcement by Riaz Mullah, general manager of ATEICO Communications, which represents IGNOU in the Kingdom.
