Ministry to businesses: Only Arabic signboards

JEDDAH: All shops, companies and establishments operating in the Kingdom must write their signboards in Arabic. Those who violate the rule will be fined, according to a directive issued by Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs Prince Miteb.

Names in other languages should be written in smaller type beneath the Arabic. The minister has instructed municipal officials to ensure the directive is implemented.
