JEDDAH — The BMG Saudi Index moved down by 0.1 percent in yesterday’s trading session to 449.6 points. The total turnover also declined by 13.7 percent to SR2.2 billion ($574 million) versus SR2.5 billion ($665 million) registered on Saturday.
The services sector was the only sector to remain stagnant, while the rest of the index’s sectors incurred losses. The banking and industrial sectors depreciated by 0.1 percent, while the telecommunication and insurance sectors decreased by 0.2 percent. Six shares went up, while 14 went down, and ten stood still.
