RIYADH: An Indian education delegation is visiting Saudi Arabia to hold information sessions on India as a destination for education and to promote a cluster of world-class academic institutions operating in north India.

The delegation is led by R.A. Chaudhry, chairman of ACN Group, which has set up several premier engineering, health care, technical and management colleges in the country.

“The tour of this three-member mission is of special interest for senior class students, mainly for Standard XI and Standard XII students, who exhibit strong academic standing and who aspire to go back to India for professional courses and higher education,” said Chaudhry.

Chaudhry, who is accompanied by well-known academician Abdul Wadood Khan, said that the visit has been organized after an increasing numbers of Indian students evinced keen interest to make India their first choice for study.

“Our ACN College of Engineering and Management Studies, approved by the All-India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and located in north Indian city of Aligarh, ranks among one of the best institutions in the country,” he added.

“With operations in Spain, UK and Australia, we are poised to move into other countries,” said the ACN chief. Those interested to hold meetings can call 0503167364 or send queries to [email protected] or [email protected] or rac-6hotmail.com for further information.

ACN today has several academic and industrial affiliates in India that include SMCI India Ltd. and an International Center for Herbal Health & Studies. ACN or Associates of Chaudhry Networks as it is known, is a success story, which started its operation in 1993.
