Schoolteacher shot dead in Makkah

MAKKAH: A teacher in his 30s was shot dead in a high school in Al-Zaher district of Makkah early yesterday.

A man walked into the school asking for the teacher. When he saw the teacher he shot him in the chest, seriously injuring him. Colleagues took the injured teacher to King Abdulaziz Hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

According to reliable sources, the victim’s family had some disagreement with the attacker’s family. Police arrested the killer and seized his gun. The case is being investigated.
