JEDDAH: Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah issued two royal decrees on Monday extending the terms of Intelligence chief Prince Muqrin and Madinah Gov. Prince Abdul Aziz bin Majed to four more years, the Saudi Press Agency said.
Prince Muqrin, formerly governor of Madinah, was appointed head of the general intelligence on Oct. 22, 2005, replacing Prince Nawaf, who was relieved of his duties. The post was earlier held by Prince Turki Al-Faisal, former Saudi ambassador to the US.
Prince Abdul Aziz, former deputy governor of Qassim, was appointed Madinah governor on Oct. 22, 2005. He replaced Prince Muqrin.
