Police detain arms smugglers

JAZAN: Security patrols here have confiscated illegal weapons, ammunitions, explosives, drugs and detained smugglers during the first half of Ramadan, a police statement said. It said various quantities of drugs and smuggled foodstuffs were also uncovered in addition to a number of overstayers. The police said the confiscated weapons included: an RPG, two hand grenades, five pistols and 259 live bullets. It did not specify where or when exactly these weapons and ammunitions were found.
