JEDDAH: Gold’s Gym Grand next to Saudi German Hospital presents the first Mixed Martial Arts competition in Saudi Arabia on Saturday at 7 p.m. p.m. as part of its 5th anniversary celebration.
There will be boys competitions and adults, plus a Brazilian jiu-jitsu competition. Fighters are from Gold’s Gym Legendary Heroes Martial Arts Academy under the leadership of its founder Captain Mohammed I. Abbas, and other martial arts schools in Jeddah.
The event is open free to the public. Before the competition starts, there will be a basketball game featuring the former Saudi national team captain and now coach Asaad and his The Hood Basketball Academy players. All are welcome and there will be closed circuit TV coverage of the event on the women’s side.
