RIYADH: Crown Prince Sultan, deputy premier and minister of defense and aviation, presided a meeting of the selection committee of the King Faisal Award for Service to Islam on Saturday, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
Makkah Gov. Prince Khaled Al-Faisal is the chairman of the board of the international award. The board members include Sheikh of Al-Azhar Muhammad Tantawi, Chairman of the Supreme Judiciary Council Saleh Bin-Humaid, Secretary-General of the Organization of the Islamic Conference Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, Secretary-General of the Muslim World League Abdullah Al-Turki, Minister of Endowment and Islamic Affairs of Jordan Abdul Salam Al-Ebadi, Minister of State and Member of the Council of Ministers Musaed Al-Aiban and Secretary-General of the award Abdullah Al-Othaimeen.
