The portal allows the 550 schools in the region to send their online requests to the department responsible for supplying furniture, which will then process their orders and complete them as quickly as possible.
“The new portal has been introduced to employ advanced technology in the field of education, as part of the Education Ministry’s continuous efforts to create a knowledge-based society,” said Director of Education for Makkah province Bakr Basfar, who was present at the portal’s launch.
The director of administration for school furnishings and teaching technology in Makkah, Raddad Al-Thamali, said the portal would help them identify the needs of each school quickly.
