Gunmen kill Mexico police chief’s daughter

A police report about the incident says Petatlan Police Chief Anacleto Flores Valle was not in Monday's attack, which began when two trucks full of heavily armed gunmen opened fire on his home.
The gunmen fled and were not identified. Petatlan, near the resorts of Ixtapa and Zihuatenejo, has faced recent violence associated with drug trafficking including several attacks on police.
