All continental French airports are closed until at least Monday 0600 GMT due to the spread of a cloud of volcanic ash.
The long-distance flights under consideration were for Fort de France, New York, Dakar, Saint Denis de la Reunion, Hong Kong, Sao Paolo and Dubai.
There will be a coach service from Roissy Charles de Gaulle in Paris to the other airports. The airline is conducting test flights in the southwest of the country on Sunday.
