Five women charged for theft

MAKKAH: Police here arrested an African gang of five women on Monday on charged with breaking into and burgling homes after working in them as maids for brief periods of time, the daily Al-Madinah reported on Tuesday.
The women have been accused of several robberies, including one involving the theft of SR250,000 worth of jewelry. The gang concentrated their operation in Al-Awali and Al-Aziziya districts of Makkah.
