Greinke (0-3) gave up four hits in his 10th career complete game and first this season. The 2009 AL Cy Young Award winner, who has a 2.27 ERA, struck out six. He threw 65 of 87 pitches for strikes and never went to a three-ball count.

In Baltimore, Ty Wigginton doubled home the winning run in the 10th inning following a throwing error by Boston closer Jonathan Papelbon, giving Baltimore its first three-game sweep of the Red Sox at home in 36 years.
Miguel Tejada had two hits and scored a run for the Orioles, whose three-game winning streak is a season high. The Orioles swept a four-game series from Boston at Camden Yards in 1998, but hadn’t swept a three-game set against the Red Sox in Baltimore since Sept. 2-4, 1974.
The Orioles are 4-2 against the Red Sox after going 2-16 against them last year.
Nick Markakisled off the 10th with a walk against Papelbon (1-2). Markakis went to second on an errant throw to first by the reliever, then scored without a throw when Wigginton doubled to left-center.
Matt Albers (2-3) worked the 10th for his second win in the series.
Jason Varitek and J.D. Drew homered for the Red Sox, who fell to 11-14. Josh Beckett allowed two runs in seven innings.
In New York, Mark Teixeira tied a career high with four hits and Robinson Cano had a three-run homer, backing another dominant performance by Phil Hughes in New York’s rout of Chicago.
Teixeira continued his emergence from an April slump with a two-run double and three singles that raised his average to .189. Nick Swis heradded a two-run shot and Brett Gardner hit a rare homer to help the Yankees take two of three in the series.
Hughes (3-0) limited the White Sox to four hits over seven scoreless innings, lowering his ERA to 1.44. He struck out six while walking one.
Paul Konerko hit a long three-run homer in the ninth off Mark Melancon, his 12th.
Mark Buehrle (2-4) gave up 10 hits in 4 2-3 innings. Chicago manager Ozzie Guillen was ejected in the seventh after a prolonged argument over balls and strikes with plate umpire Dan Iassogna.
In Detroit, Justin Verlander took a one-hit shutout into the ninth inning and Miguel Cabrera hit an RBI single in a four-run fifth, leading Detroit past Los Angeles for its season-best fifth straight victory.
Verlander (2-2) retired 23 in a row before pinch-hitter Maicer Izturis singled with one out in the ninth and Erick Aybar followed with an RBI single to end the right-hander’s day. Jose Valverde finished the four-hitter.
Jered Weaver (3-1) allowed four runs and seven hits in 4 2-3 innings. The Angels were swept in the three-game series after winning 10 of 15.
Verlander didn’t walk a batter and struck out seven, matching a season high. He gave up a two-out single to Torii Hunterin the first, then the Angels failed to reach base until the ninth.
In Cleveland, Delmon Young and rookie Wilson Ramos each had four of Minnesota’s 20 hits and the Twins got another strong start from Francisco Lirianoto beat Cleveland.
Ramos became the first Twins player with four hits in his major league debut since Kirby Puckett on May 8, 1984. Young homered and tied a career high with his four hits.
Liriano (4-0) struck out nine over seven innings after early jitters led to his scoreless streak ending at 23 innings. The left-hander allowed three runs and eight hits, walking three. He has a 1.50 ERA.
Minnesota’s Jim Thome homered off David Huff (1-4) to break a 2-all tie in the fifth. The 39-year-old slugger, who hit his first 334 homers for Cleveland, tied Rafael Palmiero for 11th on the career list with 569.
Orlando Hudson had a two-run homer for the Twins.
In Toronto, Shaun Marcum won for the first time since 2008, supported by home runs from Fred Lewis, Alex Gonzalez and Aaron Hillin Toronto’s victory over Oakland.
Hill went 3 for 4 with a walk and the Blue Jays pounded out 10 extra-base hits to win for the seventh time in nine games against the Athletics. Oakland has lost nine of 13 and saw its starting pitchers go 1-5 with an 11.96 ERA on a six-game road trip.
Marcum (1-1), who missed last season after elbow ligament replacement surgery, won for the first time since Sept. 11, 2008, at the Chicago White Sox. The right-hander allowed one run and six hits in 6 1-3 innings.
Toronto jumped on a struggling Ben Sheets (1-3) with a four-run first. Sheets allowed nine runs and 10 hits in 3 1-3 innings.
In Seattle, David Murphy hit a tying single in the ninth inning and a go-ahead sacrifice fly in the 11th, rallying Texas to a victory over Seattle.
Mariners starter Doug Fister allowed only three hits in eight scoreless innings, but Murphy singled off closer David Aardsma in the ninth to drive in Elvis Andrus.
Murphy put the Rangers ahead with a sacrifice fly off Mark Lowe (1-3), and Andrus made it 3-1 when he scored on the second passed ball of the inning by catcher Rob Johnson.
After another strong start by C.J. Wilson, Dustin Nippert (1-2) pitched a scoreless 10th for the win. Neftali Feliz earned his fifth save—and second in extra innings during this series.
Texas swept a three-game set in Seattle for the first time since April 1999 at the old Kingdome.
