Addressing a reception held by the Jeddah branch of MES, Abubacker underscored the organization’s efforts for the educational and social uplift of Muslims in India.
“MES has been instrumental in realizing the hopes and aspirations of generations in the field of education,” the vice president told the gathering attended by prominent community leaders in Jeddah.
Speaking about the success story of MES, Abubacker said, “We have made every effort to accommodate all secular organizations while working in accordance with the country’s law.”
The function was presided over by President T.P. Ahmed. MES Chennai President K.U. Abdullah, Shahriyar Baker, Salah Karadan and Osman Irumpuzhi also spoke. Secretary E.P. Ubaidullah welcomed the guests while Vice President Alawi gave a vote of thanks.
