The participants in the conference recommended visits to Western parliaments and benefit from experiences of parliamentary unions and other related organizations, according to a final communiqué issued at the end of the conference. The communiqué was read out by the Secretary-General of the Shoura Council Muhammad Al-Ghamdi.
Another recommendation was to train the staff of Shoura Councils on parliamentary procedures.
The conference also decided to move the chairmanship of the Committee of Coordination, Follow up and Recommendations to the Saudi Shoura Council.
The conference also called on the members to supply all the details of each council in its website in four months time. Bahrain will continue as the chairman of the Information Exchange committee of the council.
