The honorary degree was awarded in recognition of Prince Faisal’s efforts in the service of education, preparation of Saudi youth to face the challenges of the future, and his significant contribution in the preparation of the Exhibition of Gift from the Desert on the history and heritage of Arab thoroughbred horses currently in progress in Kentucky.
The doctorate is also in recognition of the prince’s role in building a cultural bridge of contacts between the two friendly countries — the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Sunday.
