The arrest followed the complaint of a young man that the Syrian took SR25,000 from him telling him that he arranged for the young man’s marriage with young woman. The old man also told the young man that the time and place for the marriage registration was also fixed.
Shortly the youth learned that his would-be wife is already married to another man. He also learned that the old man also was scheming to cheat more men, promising to give the same woman as wife to them all.
