The man will be handed to Riyadh police for further investigations. In another development, Al-Khormah police arrested a man who shot at and killed his own cousin. The victim was traveling with two others in a car when his relative fired at him. Some bullets had lodged in his head and he died while he was being transferred from Al-Khormah General Hospital to King Abdul Aziz Hospital in Taif.
Police tracked the man down to his hiding place in the desert where he had fled to. The man is reported to have told police that the shooting was accidental and he never wanted to kill anyone. A police statement said the man had a criminal record, Al-Yaum newspaper reported on Tuesday.
