These doubts have risen after two senior ATS officers contradicted each other over the presence of the alleged mastermind.
The Pune blast case is getting gripped in several doubts and the question now doing rounds is as to who planted the bomb in the German Bakery.
In an interview to television and print media journalists two days ago, Deputy Inspector General Ravindra Kadam contradicted the statement of the ATS chief Rakesh Maria who had in a statement said that Mirza Himayat Baig had waited outside the German Bakery while absconding accused Yasin Bhatkal of the “Indian Mujahideen” had planted the bomb.
Kadam giving a clean chit to Baig, said that it was not Baig who planted the bomb but Mohsin Chaudhary.
Kadam further said that Baig had helped assemble the explosives with Mohsin Choudhary, another absconding accused, and Bhatkal at Global Internet Café owned by Baig, while two other absconding accused had carried the bomb.
