Two men, one of the youths and a Haia member, were admitted to hospital for injuries sustained in the fight.
The fight started when two young shoppers assaulted a member of the Haia in the Barzan market in Hail.
Some other Haia members also joined the fight.
While the Haia member was discharged from hospital after receiving first aid, the youth’s injuries needed more treatment.
Police have arrested the unhurt youth, who was also involved in the fight for investigations.
The hospitalized youth will be interrogated only after his health improves, a police source told Arab News.
The Haia office in Hail said one of its officials was manhandled while he was doing his duty.
“The cause of the fight is not yet clear. However, the local police handed all the involved parties including the Haia men to the Prosecution and Investigation Commission,” spokesman of Hail police, Lt. Col. Abdul Aziz Al-Zenaidi, told Arab News.
