Five Yanbu primary health centers shifted to state-of-the-art buildings

“More health center buildings will be constructed in five or six phases as part of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Project of Constructing Model Buildings for Primary Health Care Centers,” said Dr. Abdullah Al-Taifi, director general of Health Affairs in  Madinah province, while opening the health centers.
The project aims to provide primary health centers in the Kingdom with buildings fulfilling the latest medical specifications. Al-Taifi dedicated the health centers to helping people after cutting a ribbon. He also inspected medical facilities at all of the centers.
The new facilities are situated at Al-Arbaeen, Al-Sareef, Al-Sumairi, Al-Aqeefah and Al-Rays. He added that one more center would be built in Al-Osaili once land has been acquired.
Assistant Director for Primary Health Care Dr. Khaled Al-Harbi said in a statement to Arab News that “the new health centers have been constructed in line with the most modern health specifications with the aim of ensuring excellent service to all citizens.”
According to statistical records of the Health Affairs Department, Al-Arbaeen center served 12,628 sick people while the Al-Sumairi center treated 10,849 last year.
