The three-day conference is jointly organized by the Islamic University in Madinah and King Abdul Aziz Library.
The conference will include special sessions for dialogue with a number of senior Saudi officials including Makkah Gov. Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, Minister of Culture and Information Abdul Aziz Khoja and Deputy Chairman of the Shoura Council Bandar Al-Hajjar.
Secretary-General of the GCC Abdul Rahman Al-Attiyah, Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu and Deputy Secretary-General of the Arab League Ahmad bin Hilly will address the conference, which will highlight the Kingdom’s role in fulfilling the causes of the Islamic Ummah.
The conference will also focus on the scientific and cultural efforts the Kingdom is making on behalf of Muslims and its relief and humanitarian assistance.
A number of university rectors participating in the conference considered it an important event and said it will focus on the efforts the Kingdom has exerted since its establishment to serve Islam and Muslims.
