Cop killed trying to break up fight

The officer died in a nearby hospital emergency room from a blow to the head. A person identified as a youth who was to marry next week told police he did not intend to deal a fatal blow to the officer. Police did not say what was the cause of the fight or the opposing group’s relationship to the officer’s family. The officer was on his way to visit family in Riyadh when he received a personal message that members of his family were involved in an altercation with people. The person whose blow killed the officer is in custody.
