Ihsanoglu in his address said: “In recognition of Abrar's excellent social work in Pakistan and beyond we need more people like him who can join hands with the government and international organizations such as the OIC in their noble humanitarian mission. We expect Abrar will be a valuable asset for the whole Ummah and we will seek his support to promote the OIC's humanitarian causes not only in Pakistan but among all the OIC member countries.”
Abrar thanked the OIC for reposing faith in him and appointing him its ambassador, He termed it as a great honor. “I wish to serve the Islamic world that remained my dream whole life.” Abrar belongs to Kahloon based in Narowal district. His elder brother Maj. (retd.) Israrul Haq Kahloon is an active politician.
