Commerce and Industry Minister Abdullah Zainal Alireza said the decree allowing the appointment of 500 staff for marketing monitoring would contribute to controlling prices of essential commodities and fighting commercial fraud in various parts of the country.
He also emphasized the government’s plan to intensify the Saudization of jobs in the private sector. “The royal decree in this respect would help Saudis get more jobs in private companies,” the minister said, and urged the private sector to cooperate with the ministry. Saudis in the private sector did not receive the pay raise.
Ibrahim Al-Hoqail, chairman of the Court of Grievances, said 52 new employees have been appointed in the court after they passed necessary tests. Last month, the court had appointed 361 employees. The new staff will receive their appointment letters on Saturday.
