Speaking to reporters, Al-Eissa said remarkable progress has been made in the implementation of the King Abdullah Project for the Development of Judicial Facilities.
“The opening of the two buildings comes as part of (Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques) King Abdullah’s project,” the minister said. “We are now in the process of providing modern facilities for all courts and notaries in the Kingdom,” he added.
He said many activities are taking place, including computerizing court and judicial facilities and training judges and other judicial staff.
Al-Eissa said his ministry is currently working on the documentation of real estate properties with the support of an expert team.
“We have established a central data center in order to monitor and analyze information at all courts and public notaries. We have collected information from 19 courts and 20 notaries for the center,” he added.
He said the ministry’s electronic gateway on the Internet is designed to provide at least 50 services. “We have called for tenders to establish technical infrastructure for all the ministry’s buildings,” he said.
