Prince Khalifa conveyed his condolences to King Abdullah on the death of his sister Princess Seeta bint Abdul Aziz. The meeting was attended by Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal and Prince Bandar bin Sultan, secretary-general of the National Security Council.
Earlier in an arrival statement, Prince Khalifa highlighted the strong relations between Saudi Arabia and his country. He thanked King Abdullah and the Saudi government for supporting Bahrain.
Meanwhile, King Abdullah issued a royal decree on Monday extending the term of Suleiman Al-Humaid, governor of the General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI), for another four years.
