Pakistani worker confesses to killing compatriot

He said the suspect was arrested following intensive investigations and questioning of all friends and acquaintances of the victim. He added that the Pakistani confessed his crime and showed the police where he was hiding the weapon.
The spokesman said an investigation and a search team, which was constituted under the directives of Maj. Gen. Jameel bin Attieh Al-Rihaili, director of Jazan police, identified the suspect. Investigations were underway to reveal the motives behind the crime.
Jazan police last month launched passport campaigns in various areas of the region, during which 18,575 illegal residents and beggars were arrested.
The police also caught 79 cases of ID forgeries, 20 wanted criminals, 101 stolen or wanted vehicles and 29 violating motorcyclists.  In addition, the police arrested 18 Saudis who provided the illegal foreigners with transport, and 44 infiltrators of various nationalities.
Al-Qarni said a large quantity of hashish, 1,592 kg of qat and six bottles of alcohol were seized during the raid.
