Fernando Soska of the state’s civil defense department says six of the victims, including three children, were killed in mudslides that buried their homes under tons of debris. Two men were electrocuted when hit by loose power cables.Soska said Saturday that the downpours have diminished and that only 20 people were forced to leave their homes and seek shelter with relatives.
