Kufi has already had numerous exhibitions throughout the Middle East and has been working with clear-cut conceptual elements such as words and symbols woven into textured mediums like scented hand-made papers, velvet and other fabrics. His materials always have a history of their own; they contrast or support the conceptual core of each of his pieces.
Salehi challenges our perceptions of reality and the world around us through his figurative mixed-media paintings. His playful representations of the everyday imagery are gentle reminders that there may be other ways of perceiving certainty. He makes video art films too, has exhibited widely in Europe and also teaches art and architecture.
Al Mazrouie approaches this question of "Truth" by eclectically accumulating photographs of icons, symbols and stereotypes from the historic past of the UAE and their neighbor states. Her mixed-media collages are carefully constructed arrangements of cutouts with elements of calligraphy, which give the impression of an artist’s notebook pages.
