He said Madinah would have seven constituencies and the same number of voting centers.
Those wishing to contest elections can go there to register themselves as candidates for the elections to be held late in September.
According to him, one of the centers is in the central region — close to the Prophet’s Mosque — while the six others are in Al-Khalidiyah, Abdul Aziz Al-Rabie secondary school in Qurban district, Abdullah bin Hanzalah primary school in Al-Faisaliyah district, Abu Ayoub Al-Ansari primary school in Al-Rayah district, the headquarters of Uhud municipality, and the headquarters of Al-Bayda municipality.
He said a voting center would be established in each region and district, including Yanbu, Al-Ola, Badr, Khaibar, Al-Hanakiyah, Al-Mahad, Yanbu Al-Nakhal, Wadi Al-Fara, Al-Ais, Al-Hassou, Al-Salsalah, Thirb and Abu Rakah. Al-Bilaihshi said all these centers would be in the local municipality buildings.
