Serial sex offender Phillip Garrido and his wife, Nancy, are expected to be sentenced Thursday for abducting Jaycee Dugard in 1991 and concealing her and the two daughters she bore after she was raped.
The two defendants pleaded guilty under a deal that calls for Phillip Garrido to receive a prison term of 431 years to life, and Nancy Garrido to get a maximum term of 36 years to life.
Dugard was 11 when she was snatched from a South Lake Tahoe street. She will have an opportunity Thursday to present the court with a statement about her ordeal.
